STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS:

"I send Worldwide Challenge to my supporters because it keeps Campus Crusade for Christ in front of them and will remind them of my ministry. The more they hear about and/or from CCC and me the more likely they are to keep giving."
Carey Lavender

"We have been giving Worldiwde Challenge to our ministry partners since we came on staff in 1976. It is an important 'touch point' to friends and ministry partners to give them a global picture of the Campus Crusade ministry."
Michael Mehaffie

READER COMMENTS:

"I was VERY MOVED by the article on Oscar Tiul (“The Mountain Farmer” September/October 2011). His dedication to furthering Christ's Kingdom is admirable and inspiring. I am 52 years old and every year I want my life to count more and more for Jesus. I became a Christian in 1976 through CCCI (Campus Crusade for Christ International) and have attended numerous Operation Sonshines, Christmas Conferences, a Summer Project at the previous headquarters in San Bernardino, CA, and was an Action Group leader under Audrey Kellogg at Indiana University in the years when Tim Downs and his wife were there. Furthermore, my sister was on staff with CCCI for years and I have supported CCCI staff for the past 30 years including international staff, FamilyLife Ministry and Campus Ministry staff.

I want to be Oscar Tiul's patron and work to get him sponsored so that he can do God's work full-time. I want to go to Guatemala and meet with him. In reading the article, I am somewhat dismayed that his life is so difficult and he is not being supported more. Why does he have to work for $2.50 a day when he ministering to all these villages, spending hours on the bus, walking, or riding his bike to get there, as well as trying to attend seminary? I want to free him up to do God's work full-time. I would love to have your support and direction in this matter, as I am determined to be involved. In fact, I have been attending Spanish classes because I believe God told me a couple years ago that I would be working with Latinos in the future. I believe this could be the direction God has been preparing me for."
Jennifer L. Murduck, Ellicott City, MD

"I'm writing to let you know how much I enjoy your publication. It's truly a world-class effort, from the design and layout, to the editorial content, to the photos. As a former reporter/photographer I can appreciate just how much heart and soul goes into each issue. It's been on my heart to let you know that your work is something special. I can imagine the time, energy, prayer and resources required to track down and cover the stories that you print in Worldwide Challenge. Thanks for what you do, and keep up the great ministry.
Warmest Regards, Bethany Beck

"I have just finished reading the November/December issue. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you what a great magazine you are publishing. I have been reading your magazine since I was involved with Crusade in the late 60's at Boise State University (then Boise College). I liked the magazine then...I think it might have been called Collegiate Challenge then... but what you publish now seems to get better and better with every month. Thank you and keep up the good work."
Ric Nelson, Boise, Idaho

“I really appreciate learning new ways to share the Good News. Worldwide Challenge lives up to its title by challenging me. It also encourages me to listen for His prompting and to reach out to my coworkers and neighbors. In the busyness of life, it’s so easy to lose perspective on what we’re here for.”
Randy and Carol Hart, Alsea, OR

“I just received Worldwide Challenge and came upon the article, “Just 3” (July/August ‘09). It was such a God thing that this came when it did. Very soon about 12 women will be starting a study by Paul Little on “How To Give Away Your Faith,” and I have been looking for additional articles to share with the women as we start. Sharing this article will be a great challenge to them I think, as it was for me. Thank you so much.”
Jean Kindstedt, Rye, NH

"I love reading this magazine! Every time I read it I am encouraged in my walk with the Lord and I love reading about all the amazing ways God is at work through Campus Crusade for Christ. I was just reading it the other night and was so blessed by a particular article about reading God's word--it confirmed my belief that reading God's word is one of the most important ways I can spend time with Him."
Sincerely, Jennifer Chang

The Biggest Fan!

Ted!
Congratulations on a third place finish for the opening spread with Carlton and I. WOW, I LOVE IT! This magazine article has changed so many things in our lives especially with football season around the corner. You and Tom did a great job man, just really a great job.

Carlton is in two bible studies with the Cleveland Browns and is really living for the Lord. George is with the St. Louis Rams and is also involved with a study there.

Thanks again!
